Sahaa : Co Existence and Duality in Buddhism

The studio project focused on creating hospitality spaces relating to the concept of form follows context.  The site is based in Pelling, Sikkim from which the observations and design development has been generated. Some key features of the context like the presence of auspicious Thunder Dragons and The Golden Fishes have played an immense role in deciding the planning as well as interior detailing. The form and behavior of the spaces are corresponding to the Dual, Contrasting and yet Coexisting nature of the Thunder Dragons and Golden Fishes in Buddhism.
