Sangam | Creation That Comes From a Collection

The base concept for Sangam, a hotel situated in Pelling, Western Sikkim comes from elements at the Pemayangtse Monastery. The intricate window overhangs, the columns and more so the way in which these elements are created. The idea of small modules coming together to create a complex element - from part to whole.

Taking inspiration from vernacular  architecture, material and the construction techniques, the entire space was curated with the idea of these modules coming together.
