The project aims to curate hospitality interior spaces through the incorporation of fireplaces as contextual elements inspired by the homes of Kalimpong, West Bengal. It conceptualizes the fireplace as a pivotal element forming cores within these spaces, either directly or indirectly, fostering social cohesion by establishing prominent gathering areas. This is achieved through the utilization of geometric designs that deviate from conventional grids, creating a sense of compression and expansion. These design elements generate a flowing movement throughout the site, analogous to the dispersion of smoke from a fireplace, attributed to its impeccable geometry.
