The structure is designed using consisting a shade provided by tree and undulating interactive sitting spaces. The riverfront flower park is very quiet and an inactive site. The idea behind this structure is to install it where children can play in between and the side spaces can be used for sitting. The structure is deployable so it creates different spaces during open, closed and intermediate positions. The geometry of the structure is such that it creates open and enclosed spaces. The enclosed spaces can be used as a group sitting space and in between creates a play area of 3m .sq. The structure was designed doing the explorations of scissor mechanism from the framework to the surface development which accommodates the proposed activities.
