SVARAM is an Auroville, TN based company of sound enthusiasts, artisans, designers, researchers, healers and trainees, bringing their cultural creative gifts of music into everyone’s hands. Their unique musical instruments are researched on over years and brought to life by their skilled craftsperson. About the office: This office is an Ahmedabad extension of their company as a mission to spread awareness about their services as well as their crafted products, having a research and marketing team, instruments prototyping workshop along with guided making workshops and a gallery space. Concept Development: The client’s primary material of use is Bamboo, hence bamboo was chosen as the material to focus on in the interiors. Concepts such as ‘Harmony’, ‘Zen’ and ‘Stimulating’ have been achieved in this office space, correlating to the client. The look and feel of the space has some South Indian characteristics as an ode to their hometown.
