Shakuni : The Real Winner by Nandini Kataria

This studio was about creating fictional spaces by re-contextualizing a fictional movie which in my case was Tron : Legacy with a Mahabharata character. ( Mine was Shakuni). Story of Shakuni will remain the same but the context will be of Tron.  Keeping in mind the character's main activities and prominent acts, the spaces were designed. Shakuni's spaces were - The prison (where his story started) , Hastinapur Courtroom, A Casino ( for privacy and gambling), Shakuni's room and The Sabha where the game of dice happened.

Casino designed for Shakuni where nobody can enter except him as its hidden. Gambling was his specialty and hence like computer games, he can call human holographic projection to play with him

This is Hastinapur Courtroom where everyone have digital screens and all the data is saved within it. There are two big screen which is used to discuss general issues.

This is where Shakuni's story started. He along with his 99 brothers were sent to prison and were ordered to starve till death just because their sister, Gandhari was manglik. There was a strong childhood trauma involved.

This is a view of whole prison which was connected yet blocked.

Have a glimpse of Shakuni's Room. Secrecy was the main element of this room as Shakuni was planning the War. there's a bold blue line which opens up with shakuni's fingerprints to the Casino, a hidden place. His dice were kept in a password protected safe. And there were screens all over the room used for planning the revenge.

This is the Sabha where game of dice happened. Dice had beads on it which were thrown on a screen. The Screen can sense the touch and final number appear on the main screen along with the options available.
