A Film museum named as “Bollywood evolution” was designed in order to showcase the evolution happened in Bollywood Film industry through six eras from 1910 till date.The project was about designing a film museum for any film industry whether Hollywood, Bollywood or any regional cinema and showcasing film making procedure and its components. The museum has participatory, exhibitory and visual exhibits of Indian Film Industry especially Bollywood. This book is about a culmination of 4 months monsoon semester work where we were supposed to study the components of film making, give a visualization of the design one wanted to do for the Film Museum, literature case studies were done, site visit to Kala Academy, Goa and its analysis as a group work. After all these studies and research we individually started with infographics, ideation, concept, zoning,layouts, sections, 3d views for a particular zone, etc. were created and the parallel design related to film industry was studied and applied. This project gave a great exposure to do interior design and an adaptive reuse of such a huge scale existing project by Charles Correa. The site was chosen in Goa as there will be many foreigners and has a great history linked with film making.Also this project brought to me patience and brought me nearer to the field of design.
