The Studio objective is to design a Film Museum at Kala Academy, Goa. The museum intends to show sequential stages of Film making and History of Indian cinema through visual, participatory and experiential exhibits. The interactive museum is conceptualized as a Carnivalesque celebration. The idea is to emphasize the drama brought in by Bollywood into the museum. Therefore, the design has programmatic additions to follow the theme of a carnival, such as escape rooms, live shows, haunted house etc. The organizational character of a carnival is translated into the museum to use it as a fun learning tool for people to interact. This is achieved by drawing parallels to a carnival and creating a manifest which would guide design decisions for the interiors of the museum.
