RE-THINKING THE JAIPUR AIRPORT POST COVID

Airports, apart from being a place of transit, also serve as the ambassador or representative of their host city or state. Following the same line of thought, an airport terminal is conceptualised, post Covid, in 2025, in the pink city of Jaipur. The entire terminal is rethought with the central agenda in mind that it represents the entire culturally diverse state of Rajasthan, being its capital city’s airport. A balance is attempted to be created between the rooted culture and traditions that the state has to offer and the technological advancements that are most likely to be seen five years down the line, in a manner that the essence of the state is not lost.
