Building Crafts: This module looks at the tangibles and intangibles related to crafts in interior architecture and design. This course focused on different  craft and understanding of the strength and weakness of the craft , their community and how designers can collaborate  with  the skilled craftsmen which opens new opportunities in the design world.1. Understanding traditional crafts of Ahmadabad 2. understanding traditional built environments 3. traditional craftsmen’s profile and process 4. crafts collaboration History and theory: the studio introduced a different way of understanding history, to question it and postulate theories on based facts and reasoning. This was divided into two parts 1. Historical Mapping 2. Research paper on Indian history and its building environment Computational design: to achieve a double curved surface through material exploration and computational design tools
