Scenography - Exchange Studio

We have a few brilliant and very well known lamp designs around the world. To understand the history, formation and mechanism of one chosen lamp and to exhibit it, in the most experiential yet informative way, was the task.
As another assignment, learning about new materials and experiencing them through various methods, we had to design a cafe, in regards to a material palette and making it a taste of your own. TRYST, is what I call mine.

The process of choosing a product and space planning the exhibit path around it is documented here.

A given site, had to accumulate all different lamp displays. The design was a concentric ring, making the lamp a mode of display. There are wired forms place in the inner ring to help the lamp create the right kind of shadow on the walls.

These are a series of images taken to experiment how the lamp forms a play of shadows. Displaying the visuals that the user needs to experience.

The cafe appears to be a dark and bold space to be in. The palette used describes the kind of users its going to have. The two shaded colour scheme makes the space more oriented to its concept.
