GRAB BAR | Safety in Household Bathrooms

Many people experience unfortunate incidents of slips and fall in bathrooms occurring majorly due to wet floor. The two pillars that regulated the design brief were 'prevention' from fall and 'protection, from injury.BRIEF:  Designing a system or range of products that prevent/protects the user from slipping or falling in the household bathrooms and thereby minimizing the risk of injuries. The grab rail offers an optimum scope of preventing slips and falls when a person reaches out for support as a result of reflexes. The approach towards designing the grab bar follows inferences of study of the possible fall direction and gripping strategy in a considered bathroom layout.
