WUDAOKOU FUTURE LIGHTRAIL STATION, BEJIENG

This is a final year research studio at University of Cincinnati, under professor Ming Tang. The project explores the interaction of real and virtual worlds in a mixed reality transit hub of the future. We followed a non-linear design process to design by constantly evaluating the ideas using crowd simulation software and Tobi eye tracking system and a final walk through using the Unreal Game engine.
The transit hub is three-tiered with a public retail and leisure space on the entry level; transit level at the second level and a over-night stay pod lounge on the upper level.
