BANDHAN: Tying Architecture

The project focuses on how different types of seams and stitches hold and support space around them, using a variety of threads, knots, ribbons which are intertwined and even stitches with loose-fit embroidery. It also raises the question of how different types of seams and stitches can alter its function and how weaves may work as surfaces. Also, if flatness can act as weave, there can be change in scale of threads  though continuing to support architectural elements.
