Coalesced Mobility : A Stop Motion Animation Studio

Coalesced Mobility is a workspace for Stop Motion Animators. The architecture of the workspace is borrowed from the qualities of objects and their collages. The process began with listing the objects, technologies and furniture required in the space and then planning the space as per requirements and deriving interesting spatial concepts from object and collage qualities.  Thus the entire space has qualities of domesticity, interlocking nature, porosities and undulations.

The ground floor plan has subtractions in its form which help interlock the cabins with the walls itself.

Workshop Cabins and Interior Details

The plan of the first floor is designed in such a way that each department acts like a frame in the stop motion film and comes together to form the company as a whole.
