This project focuses on redesigning the existing tree guards, i.e. fences around small, weak trees to help protect them from environmental harm. Taking inspiration from the structural stability and form of a honeycomb's hexagon, the tree guard has been redesigned to highlight and reduce its faults and make the space around them much more inviting. These tree guards can be highly customized based on where they are placed, having playful mesh patterns for ones near children's playground, seating options when placed in streets, or even as an advertisement when in road sides.
