Spyda: A Seat for Autonomous Vehicles of the Future

In the next 20 years, autonomous cars with level 5 automation will become widespread, popularising ride-sharing as a safe and independent mode of travel. With no need for a driver, the interior design of cars will drastically change, allowing passengers to do much more while riding. Additionally, the way seats are positioned in cars will radically change, paving the way for new layouts, designs and functions. This project was done in collaboration with Mayank Patole (UBD20095).
