"Aalayam" is an adaptive reuse project, situated in Diu, which focuses on designing a hospitality space in and around St. Thomas Church which caters to rich heritage in Diu. It is a wedding event hotel which features a Ballroom, Outdoor event are (Amphitheater space), Multiple deck areas to cater to flexibility of events, A pool & a poolside bar, Outdoor Cafe, & All day dining. It has a total of 8 Suites and 30 Deluxe rooms. The design rotates around creating union of spaces and also following the language of existing old structure, which includes openings &volumes.
