Samahara : where fragments find tranquility

Samahara is a luxury wellness retreat nestled within the historic Convent of Santa Monica in Old Goa. Rooted in the Sanskrit word for "bringing together," the project harmoniously blends heritage architecture with contemporary wellness practices. The adaptive reuse design preserves the convent’s solemn grandeur while introducing serene spaces for yoga, healing therapies, mindful dining, and rejuvenation. Through careful spatial fragmentation and restored axial passageways, the retreat offers guests a journey of inner balance and holistic restoration.
