The old city of Ahmedabad attracts great number of tourists every year because of the invaluable heritage of the city. This four star boutique hotel, in the heart of the city showcases the heritage and targets the tourists who are looking for the experience of the local context. Case studies played an important role in the adaptive reuse of the Jamalpur school into a boutique hotel.Further outlining the program and concept -of designing the new interventions similar yet comparable to the existing building led to the space planning and interior styling of the spaces i.e., inspired by the indochine style.
