Cultro | Svarna

Indian kitchens are evolving into dynamic spaces where innovation meets tradition. As cultural practices adapt to modern lifestyles, tools and appliances are being reimagined to preserve their essence while enhancing convenience. In this studio project, I explored this intersection by designing Cultro, a contemporary meat-cutting tool inspired by the traditional boti, and Svarna, a ghee-making appliance that revives the age-old bilona process with modern efficiency. Together, they celebrate the past while shaping the future of the Indian kitchen.
