This studio involved working on two distinct projects: SPD (Systematic Product Design) and TCP (Technical Construction Project), offering a comprehensive exposure to industrial design. We explored how user research and design processes vary between emotionally-driven and technically-driven products. A strong focus was placed on understanding CMF (Color, Material, Finish) and its role in making products relatable and communicative. Each project was developed from the ground up, starting with identifying intervention areas, conducting in-depth user research, concept development, and finalizing CMF, providing a well-rounded experience of tackling diverse challenges within product design.
