P.A.C.T.

P.A.C.T. (Public Accountability and Compliance Test) is a speculative board game set in 2050, where players navigate an eco-citizenship exam designed around ERG theory—Existence, Relatedness, and Growth. Through tasks, transactions, and moral dilemmas, players decide how to allocate resources, address social hierarchies, and balance self-gain, community benefit, and environmental priorities. Moderated by a PRS recruiter (a representative of the eco-authoritarian regime) the game challenges players to reflect on ethical, social, and ecological implications of their actions. Upon completion, players receive a report card assessing their eligibility as citizens, sparking critical discourse on values and priorities amidst a climate crisis.
