Flinn Pavilion

Flinn Pavilion highlights water importance, as a water positive system, by using negligible water during the construction phase. The objective is to create a light weight structure, with locally available material which can be assembled & dismantled, making it a modular system. The pavilion also aims for minimum wastage of material. It is designed with sheet material, using the concept of active bending and catenary arches. The term "Flinn" is derived from combination of Flux/Flow and Skin.Flinn = Flow ( of form ) + Skin ( of module ) Tectonic assemblies are taken to consideration while prototyping.
