Spatial Tensions is a theatre space designed for the text- 'Metamorphosis' by Franz Kafka. The theatre stage design is based on the concept of fragmentarism that creates encounters between the characters of the play and the audience. The encounters illustrated in the intent of the spatial text are situated in the central stage which encounters the quarry as the backdrop. The walls of the stage are aligned to the contour and slide to uncover the space and the stage which are fragmented in nature and located along the slope of the valley. The contrasting scaffold matches the cone of vision.
