Housing For Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

The Urban Management Foundation Studio (Monsoon Semester 2024), focuses on affordable housing for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) assessment through Facility Management Framework in Ahmedabad. The difficulties that Economically Weaker Section (EWS) housing societies encounter are examined in greater detail in this study, along with valuable suggestions for improvement. We concentrated on areas like  committee structure, resident awareness, operations and maintenance (O&M), financial allocation, and policy. Each is essential to ensuring these communities are secure, well-kept, and desirable places to live. The project concludes with specific recommendations and proposals to close these gaps.
