Immigration and Security Check Area

This study and analysis are of the service and operations of the International airport. I have studied the Immigration and Security hold area from where the passenger enters into No man's land.
After the process of Check-in i.e. receiving the boarding pass and giving the check-in bag, the passenger moves to the immigration counter where the Immigration officer scrutinizes all the documents required to travel and validates the passport – this process is Immigration clearance process. Later the passenger goes to the security check area where he/she removes all the electronic items from the handbag put it in a tray and keep in x-ray scanning machine and simultaneously go for body frisking. CISF officer scrutinizes all the items in the tray and bag in the x-ray scanning machine and CISF officer frisks the passenger and gives security clearance Stamp on the boarding pass. These processes are Handbag screening and frisking.
