Service Operations Management of India Post

This studio helped in understanding the back-end processes that go on in the Indian Postal services and how different entities have clearly defined roles. A case study on the Blue Dart Aviation Centre at Ahmedabad airport helped in understanding how this private counterpart of the postal service handles its bulk inside the hub. Simultaneously, gaps were identified and proposals were formulated which would help in increasing the efficiency of the service and also uplift and change the perceived brand image of the service in order to encourage the citizens to be able to trust and use it.
