A study on the Speed post service of India Post in order to understand the functioning and operations. Service operations of Blue Dart were studied to get a comparative analysis. A detailed analysis was done using various tools to analyze the gaps and thereby formulate necessary proposals to bridge them. Several proposals were aimed at immediate implementation, some on a pilot basis and a few on a long-term basis. Overall, all of the proposals would definitely enhance the service quality as well as making a brand image for India Post gaining more customers in the long run.
