A study on the Speed post service of India Post in order to understand the functioning and operations. Service operations of Blue Dart was studied to get a comparative analysis. A detailed analysis was done using various tools to analyse the gaps and thereby formulate necessary proposals to bridge them. Several proposals were aimed at immediate implementation, some on pilot basis and a few at a long term basis.  Overall, all of the proposals would definitely enhance in the service quality as well as making a brand image for India Post gaining more customers in the long run.
