As part of our Urban Governance and Management Studio, this project focused on the newly upgraded Morbi Municipal Corporation and aimed to analyze how Morbi, transitioning from a municipality to a corporation, can strengthen its institutional capacity, service delivery, and urban management frameworks. My specific contribution to the study centered on exploring city branding through the lens of quality of life—looking beyond basic liveability to how Morbi can position itself as a loveable city. Key factors such as air pollution, green cover, recreational spaces, and climate resilience were examined, as they play a crucial role in shaping a city’s identity, improving citizen well-being, and attracting talent and investment.
