Pedestrian Priority Street to Boost Local Economy

The City Infrastructure Plan(CIP) studio scrutinize India’s first UNESCO recognized world heritage city: the Historic City of Ahmedabad. Walled City of Ahmedabad also act as a Central business district. Still Walled city of Ahmedabad lacks proper vision & infrastructure plan to promote Local Economy. The project introspect Pedestrian Priority Street as a tool to Boost Local Economy. Pedestrianization of streets acts as a tool to improve cities attractiveness to residents, it improves urban life and most importantly raises local businesses' revenues.  In addition, it also contributes to city's brand value as more visitors tend to come to the place.
