Kaushalya-Dwar: An Industry-Academia Partnership

The Kaushalya-Dwar project is a pilot initiative developed under CEPT University's City Infrastructure Plan (CIP) studio for Surat 2047. It aims to transform Surat into a global skilling hub by bridging the gap between industry needs and educational infrastructure. Anchored in the Antroli region, the project promotes industry-academia collaboration to offer demand-driven, technology-integrated skill development programs. Focused on key industrial sectors—textile, logistics, healthcare, and gems & jewelry—it also emphasizes female workforce participation and inclusivity. With scalable design, public-private partnerships, and sustainable financing, Kaushalya-Dwar aspires to align with Surat’s ambition of becoming a Growth Hub by 2047
