As rightly said by someone'waste is a misplaced resource'. SWM is the only sector of infrastructure which has a potential to generate revenue by recycling of the waste other than user fee. In this project ,the foucs is only on municipal solid waste and the issues of collection,transportation and recovery are addressed by proposing Integration of rag pickers into SWM
