The project involves the redevelopment of Manek Chowk Street, a historic commercial street in Ahmedabad, India. The objective of the project is to transform the street into a safe, accessible, and vibrant urban space that supports the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, and vendors while preserving its cultural and historic character.
The goal is to Improve pedestrian safety and accessibility, Create a dedicated vending zone to improve the informal economy,  Preserve the cultural and historic character of the street and enhance the street's aesthetic appeal also ensure the street is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
