The project envisions transforming the site into a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient urban connector that bridges the older and newer parts of the city. It focuses on creating pedestrian-oriented public spaces that encourage community interaction, recreation, and accessibility for all. By reducing traffic congestion through improved circulation strategies and prioritizing non-motorized movement, the project aims to enhance the overall urban experience. Increasing green density will contribute to ecological balance and comfort, while revitalizing commercial activity will attract greater footfall and stimulate the local economy. The design also seeks to strengthen the site's cultural and historical identity, fostering a renewed urban relationship.
