The Development Plan of Rajkot is prepared for the year 2036. The Development Plan includes integrated proposals for land use, transport, housing, infrastructure, and environment to achieve the long-term goals. In the process, various approaches and tools like zoning and regulations were explored. Various development models were explored through scenario building exercises and iterative approach.  Transport was designed by considering existing growth patterns and by employing space syntax analysis.
