DECIPHERING THALTEJ: JUNCTION DESIGNS

As part of the foundation studio, road network and traffic movements were studied. Being a fringe ward with major land use residential, the traffic movements were low and more dependent on the private vehicles. Further availability of unarmed wide space at the main entry/ exit to the ward that is Acropolis Junction led to chaos during peak hours. So study was concerned with decreasing the conflict points and have an smooth and comfortable access to the ward.  All this was planned keeping in mind the vision: Ward of Growth, Connectedness & Equity.
