Exploring Option of Rental Housing for Migrant Workers

All the affordable housing programs developed by Government have always focused on giving ownership to the people. Whereas there are some people who can not afford these houses. When there are non-permanent migrants coming to seek job opportunities to a particular city, they do not look for ownership but for renting. Migrants are the main users of the rental housing.
Affordable rental housing made available through public housing could save the new migrants from going through the route of informal rental housing and can move into formal rental housing at affordable prices.
