REGULATING PARKING FOR MOBILITY

Parking policy will deal with the major problem in the ward by providing charged parking for long term and short term users. High parking charges in the ward and providing limited parking in the ward will demotivate people to use private transport in the ward. Also improving walking condition in the ward by removing or regularizing parking will encourage people for NMT. Improving public transport connectivity with small vehicles like tempos and last mile connectivity by IPT (auto-rickshaws) & provision of transition nodes and designated parking for IPT. This will encourage people to use public transport in the ward.
