There are regions within a city which could be left segregated. This can have implications on the functioning and the safety of the region.In rapidly expanding Indian cities, a huge amount of growth happens unattended where the street networks almost always lack permeability, contributing to their disconnection. Development within these neighborhoods is piecemeal leading to small silos with little connection with each other. The project aims to address the spatial disconnect by first defining its indicators and consequently devising strategies in line with the rapid development at the fringes.
