The Foundation Studio aimed at providing knowledge of urban planning using various conceptual and analytical techniques on a ward level to develop an understanding of the city. The studio included perception studies, reading and writing exercises, surveys and data collection for Shahpur Ward. Our vision for Shahpur Ward is to ‘Synthesise the urban fabric for an inclusive design’. Shahpur ward has a distinct character along with various upcoming proposals such as CBD, TOD Along BRTS corridor, and a bridge. As a team various proposals have been given and here is a brief upon CBD redevelopment.
