The site-Nehrunagar in Surat is a neighborhood of migrant workers living in un-organized settlements. To understand the community, certain analysis through documented works, readings & discussions were done. The project proposal attempts to address certain issues which led a better and flexible living conditions for the community. It aims to provide various open spaces not only on ground floor but on floors above too to the community. The pedestrian and vehicular access for ease of mobility within and outside the neighborhood is connected through built and unbuilt spaces meeting on open spaces.
