Bridging Gaps - Enhancing Interactions

The project focuses on creating a walkable site. Walkability is one the major aspects of urban design. Since it enhances walkability, a more inclusive and liveable design is created. Though there may be physical permeability across the site. Many factors such as the character of the street, user group present or thermal comfort - cater to the level of walkability. Thus the final design focuses on promoting both physical as well as visual permeability. Different typologies and massing iterations were worked out. Evaluations were done based on fitness criteria which prioritise pedestrian networks and the decided strategies for the same.
