Private land development at Motera, Ahmedabad

Housing Project Studio is focused on the development of brownfield/greenfield sites. The objective is to explore the possible development opportunities for the land and understand the process with the help of micro-market trends and analysis and finding the best and the most efficient use by using various policies applicable on the sites and also checking if the project is financially viable or not.In order to do this, the one is supposed to select a number of possible locations (8 to 10 ha) within the city, taking into account variations in the areas of land use that predominate, location, accessibility, market circumstances, and other factors. For instance, greenfield development, slum land redevelopment, public land redevelopment, and mill land redevelopment. It is supposed to design the site with consideration for the micro market's current real estate demand, desired product mix, production and absorption status, and future potential. In the studio, one will refine their skills in financial model development, macro- and micro market analysis, land potential analysis, and application of methods for comprehensive project development. One must design a project that complies with all current laws, customs, and policies and can be carried out in a way that is both financially feasible and feasible. A thorough project plan that includes a resource generating strategy through phase-by-phase variations in the product development and selling cycle will be the end result.
