The Housing Strategy studio focuses on providing a full spectrum of City-wide housing in the City of Surat. It was based on understanding the housing sector between all income groups. Stage1 was about the situational assessment and followed by envisioning the future horizon year of 2035 and finally providing individual strategy catering to the provisionary side as well as enabling side of the affordability line.  The following is the sub-strategy which lies on the provisionary side. The focus of the whole project was to provide interventions for the untenable slums and how they can be addressed.
