The goal of the project is to construct an intermodal transit hub in Vasna, a residential area on Ahmedabad's western outskirts. The goal was to transform the station into a destination that could improve the quality of life in the surrounding area while also connecting the AMTS bus system with the BRTS and paratransit. Another feature that emphasizes the uniqueness of the place while keeping the purpose in mind in my design of the bus terminal is a community center/ gathering space. This space provides the neighboring residents to come together, host events, hold meetings, etc. The dynamic quality of the space allows it to be used for formal and informal gatherings quite effectively.
