The intervention “Leaving No-one Behind”, under Sanitation Sector, aligns with the group’s vision, to sustain the Open Defecation Free status of Vadodara, to provide sanitation facilities to the unserved section of the municipal corporation like slums lacking toilets, squatter settlements, and homeless people. As lack of sanitation facilities forces them to defecate openly on vacant plots, open grounds, along with water bodies. Currently, in Vadodara such facilities are not adequately provided by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation to cater to every user. To eradicate open defecation in Vadodara, if every user is provided with user-friendly toilet facility, that will help in attaining hygienic conditions for all. This intervention will be a short-term project based on sanitation group’s vision.
