In context of Vadodara, the degradation of natural systems accounted encroachments  as one of the main issues which included the urban poor of city as one of the factor adding to that degradation.But this component of social cycle is equally vulnerable to the impacts of stormwater issues in city. Hence the proposal looks forward to have an inclusion of these informal settlements in the comprehensive storm water plan for the city which helps in their vulnerability reduction with help of micro management of urban runoff in such sites.
