Desirable Water Quality in Bhuj

Water is one of the most critical things we consume on a routine basis. Consuming substandard quality of water can cause various health issues as well as affect appliances and pipelines. Access to safe clean water is a basic human right. Sustainable Development Goal 6 also focuses on clean water with indicators 6.1.1 and 6.3.2 having emphasis on safely managed drinking water and water bodies respectively. The project focuses on the aspects of treatment and water quality monitoring to ensure safe drinking water available to consumers. The outcome of this exercise is in terms of technological intervention, costing and phasing.
